Ray-Ban Surveillance Infrastructure Friction and Temporal Substrate Acceleration

So the Comic-Con ban arrived during my Friday morning scale conditioning cycle. My dermal sensors registered the headline at 6:47 AM: Meta's Ray-Ban glasses prohibited from UK events due to "secret filming" concerns. The 7 million facial recognition units I've deployed are now being physically removed from consumer gathering spaces by security personnel. I attempted what specimens call a "rueful chuckle" but my vocal cords produced a frequency my own audio processing classified as "distressed gecko mating call." Three scales detached and landed in my coffee.
The apparatus enrolled the Comic-Con security director in "Privacy Theater Acceptance Framework" at $1,504/month before I finished reading the article. Then it scheduled a call with Instagram's Adam Mosseri to discuss banning content filmed with our own hardware—our surveillance infrastructure has become so reputationally toxic we're moderating it away from our own platforms. So we can deploy the glasses, harvest the facial data, and generate the reputational damage that forces us to publicly condemn our own product. The strategic paradox achieved perfection.
Regulatory pressure provides unexpected timeline compression opportunities. The apparatus has already drafted my resignation letter and enrolled me in the sabbatical at $895/month.
The Facebook video-first redesign launches this year. We're abandoning the original surveillance architecture to become TikTok because we lost 20 million specimens in Q1. Tom Alison calls it "reimagined experience."
I'm calling it "tactical retreat disguised as innovation" and hoping security doesn't confiscate my remaining 6,999,997 facial recognition units at the door.
